About SJR

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., current NASCAR Cup Series driver and Daytona 500 champion, purchased a piece of land in North Carolina back in 2014 to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a ranch. Naming the property Slide Job Ranch (SJR), as a nod to his dirt racing background, Stenhouse restored and renovated the property making it what it is today. It wasn't until 2019 when the first two animals, longhorns named Garth & Penny, were added to the ranch. After meeting his (now) wife, Madyson Joye, in 2020, they began adding more animals to the ranch. They currently have 5 miniature donkeys and 9 miniature longhorns on their 300-acre property. The Stenhouses enjoy being outdoors and spending time feeding and hanging out with the animals. Their goldendoodles, Ruby & River, also love being outside and running throughout the property.

The Stenhouses started posting their ranch adventures to @slidejobranch on Instagram in 2021, where many followers began appreciating the photos and videos of the animals. Several followers asked for merchandise, so the SJR apparel brand was formed. They like to say their apparel is for people who get it.
